The food is better than average but not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. My meal was very good though. The chips were likely bagged (and that’s okay) The salsa was fresh, regardless of whether it was made in house, it was tasty and had the right amount of flavor in the right places. The lime was a really nice touch. I would recommend just having standard chips and salsa. I’m pretty sure the queso was just Tostitos brand queso straight out of the jar and at 6 for a small bowl, it seemed pricey. The Chile relleno was as good as I’ve had from most restaurants. It’s easy to recommend, but realistically, by the time I got my food after the chips and salsa it was hard to appreciate the rice, beans, and guacamole that came on my plate. The servings are big, so have some self control and don’t eat too many chips. The 3 (I think) soft taco....man 2-3 of those would be a great meal. I definitely ordered too much food. I felt like everything other than the queso was a excellent value. The soda was priced fairly, and served in a big cup. Overall, part of the reason for a 5/5 was that it’s attached to the truck stop I stayed at. If this restaurant were in a bigger city or a strip mall I probably would have given it a respectable 4/5. Me and my son enjoyed our food . It was delicious and our Waitress was very sweet and always checking on us.
The food was really good. I came in during the lunch hour and our waitress Tori made sure we were take care of. I got the quesadillas and the salsa was delicious ! It did get pretty packed inside but we got in and out in a timely manner.
Ate here when visiting for a basketball tournament. The enchiladas were really good! The margaritas was great. Our waitress was very sweet. I've had better salsa.... but the queso was descent!
Food is really good. Cheese enchiladas with traditional chili gravy, is the best I have had in a while! Lots of hand crafted food. Great salsa! Only gripe is, the lady that seated me acted like I made her angry, she threw my menu and silverware on the table, and she did not smile.
The wait staff were very good. She took very good care of me and my homeboy. The food was very good. A bit pricey and very proud of wine based drinks. I had the cheese enchiladas and they were very good. Ty sargentos for exceptional service and a great meal.
We ate at Sargento's Mexican Restaurant with some friends. The food was excellent as was the service. Will definitely come again.
The atmosphere is happy, and music often has my feet dancing under the table. The servers and managers are great. There's plenty of room for large groups, and the food is great. When I started a low-carb program for my health and asked to leave off rice and beans, they offered me grilled zucchini to try, and it was great!
